Fixing the Future Card Deck Evaluation Workshop

The researchers from the EPSRC  Fixing the Future project in the Institue for Design Informatics at the University of Edinburgh are looking for participants for the workshops happening in March.

We are excited to invite you to participate in our upcoming 90 minutes in person workshop evaluating our new set of  “Right to Repair Cards”. £10 value of vouchers will be given to participants who take part in the workshop.

Please go to this link to sign up for a slot or theme that you are interested: https://forms.office.com/e/RAbRfQEVz9

This will be run in the Informatics Form located at the University of Edinburgh George Square campus, and we will send an invitation for your diary once we’ve finalised the slots, alongside consent and information sheets for you to sign.

This workshop aims to gather valuable insights and feedback on a card deck designed to support the longevity, sustainability and repairability of consumer electronics and Internet of Things devices.

We are keen to hear from a wide range of participants working on these topics, so if this sounds of interest to you, please do sign up.

We are particularly interested in hearing from those working across the supply chain of design, research, deployment and operations for consumer-focused Internet of Things and electronics devices and services e.g. design professionals or practitioners, UX specialists, students, researchers, product developers or managers, IT professionals, engineers, legal practitioners, repairers etc.

If you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to reach out to the following email address: s2184082@ed.ac.uk .

Thank you for your interest and we look forward to your participation!
