Ana Betancourt and Gabrielle Haley, a duo of sound designers’, graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2018 and co-founded Black Goblin. While working in Scotland and Northern England they discovered that sound creation is a major issue for independent filmmakers and they realised there was serious potential to turn their passion into something more. Their vision became to help the Film and Games industries in the UK to become competitive at an international level. Black Goblin is now an audio software company developing the first plugin that enables visual editors to create bespoke sound effects using only their computer and software of choice.
