Space meets the Creative sector – Mash-up

The Art of the Possible – A Bright Sustainable Future

Space Technology Scotland will be partnering with the Data Driven Innovation Programme and Design informatics for The Art of the Possible – A Bright Sustainable Future.

Space technology offers an interesting ability to understand our world, but in order to take full advantage of this the industry needs help and fresh perspectives. The space sector needs the skills, talent and imagination of games makers and data visualisers to help, amongst others:

  • effectively present and communicate insights from our data to decision makers
  • develop gamification strategies to help influence and model the impact of decision options.

After a successful space and games mash up in Dundee earlier this year Space Tech Scotland brings the event to Inspace in Edinburgh and adds in the expertise of members of the Edinburgh Data Vis Meet Up group with Scottish Games Developers Association.

Come along and be part of the mix. Ideas developed on the night could be supported to be developed further and even potentially be presented at the UN’s COP26 climate change conference being held in Glasgow in November 2020.
