Announcing BRAID x IDI Hybrid Seminar 2024 Autumn Series

Learn from the communities paving the way for Responsible AI development and discover the vital role of the arts & humanities in developing ethical AI futures.
We’re pleased to announce the upcoming Autumn series of BRAID x IDI Hybrid Seminar Series ‘Responsible AI Futures’ a partnership programme between the Institute for Design Informatics (IDI) and Bridging Responsible AI Divides (BRAID).
This series takes place September – December 2024, for which we are hosting the following wonderful speakers:
Casandra Strauss, Director, New Digital Business & Innovation at Universal Music Group
Dr Caterina Moruzzi, Chancellor’s Fellow in Design Informatics at the University of Edinburgh
Dr Dan McQuillan, Lecturer in Creative and Social Computing at Goldsmiths, University of London
Dr Christopher Burr, Senior Researcher in Trustworthy Systems at Alan Turing Institute
Dr Peaks Krafft, Lecturer, Department of Sociology at the University of Edinburgh
Dr Bahareh Heravi, Reader in AI and Media at the University of Surrey
Dr Lydia Farina, Assistant Professor, Department of Philosophy at the University of Nottingham
