Design Informatics Pavilion – launch event photos

On Thursday 2nd August Design Informatics and Tesco Bank launched the Design Informatics Pavilion, part of Edinburgh Art Festival and Assembly Festival. The launch was attended by Ivan McKee MSP, Minister for Trade, Innovation and Technology and members of the media. Design Informatics researchers, students and designers and digital teams from Tesco Bank demonstrated transgressive design objects that explore the possibilities of designing with data, three of which came out of ‘Project Mercury’, a year long knowledge exchange programme with Tesco Bank.
