Vacancy: Post-doctoral Research Associate in Creative Informatics

The University of Edinburgh is appointing a full-time Post Doctoral Research Associate to contribute to the delivery and assessment of the Creative Informatics AHRC funded R&D Partnership to support the creative industries cluster in Edinburgh through data-driven innovation. The role here will be to assist in the creation of new relationships, and research opportunities, between industry partners, individuals from the creative industries, in order to undertake data driven innovation in the development of new products and services. The PDRA will be tasked with assisting and evaluating the research and development undertaken as part of this partnership, as well as embarking on longer term research enquiries that traverse the eco-system. We require individuals with a broad, interdisciplinary understanding of data, and/or the creative industries, and experience working with partners from civic, cultural and commercial backgrounds.

 

This is a fixed term (until 31st December 2022), full time role.

Salary: £33,199 – £39,609 per annum.
