Alex Taylor, Reader in Design Informatics
Alex Taylor has been contributing to the areas of Human-Computer Interaction and Science and Technology Studies for over twenty years, and held positions in both academic and industrial research, most recently as Centre Co-Director of HCID at City, University of London, and in the past at institutions such as the University of Surrey, Goldsmiths, Xerox, Google and Microsoft Research.

He’s invested in building and sustaining collective and participatory practices that enable diverse people and communities to flourish, together.
Alex is currently Scholar in Residence at Digital Futures, Stockholm and Honorary Visiting Researcher at HCID, City, University of London. He lives in Edinburgh with his partner, two children and two canine companions.
