Christine O'Dell, PhD Candidate
Christine O’Dell is a PhD candidate in Design Informatics at the University of Edinburgh under the supervision of Dr. Chris Elsden and Dr. Ewa Luger. Her research focuses on the intersection of service design and emerging technologies, exploring how design practice and the deployment of digital technologies can foster collective innovative services.
Christine holds a MDes in Communication Design from York University and a BDes in Graphic Design from the Emily Carr University of Art and Design. She is currently a visiting assistant professor in the Communication Design department at the Pratt Institute in New York. Her research has been published and featured in international conferences including the International Association of Societies of Design Research.
