Frances Liddell, Post-Doctoral Research Associate

Frances Liddell is an arts and humanities researcher and a current post-doc research associate on the DECaDE project, which aims to accelerate research in DLTs, AI, and human data interactions through working with industry and end users to explore new tools and techniques.

She has a background in arts management and museum studies, and her PhD research was one of the first empirical studies to examine the impact of blockchain technologies on museum practice. Frances’ research interests focus on themes such as participation, digital materiality, and ownership design and is interested in the way that emerging technologies such as Web3 can challenge and reshape perceptions around value and ownership.
