Harvey Everson, Design Technician
Harvey Everson is a Design Technician with the Peoplehood project. As a designer, he’s fascinated by the human condition, human behaviours and specifically our growing dependency on technology.
His practice often consists of exploring new ways of interacting with products through the use of speculative narratives.
He has often found speculative design to be a fascinating tool to reflect upon and critique our current societal norms, issues, and behaviours. He believes that this element of reflection is vital for the exploration of preferable futures.
He has a particular interest in designing and making physical artefacts and prototypes to directly influence the investigation of future narratives.
His learning through making approach to design is used to further develop his understanding of interactions between humans and technology.
