Youngsil Lee, PhD Candidate
Youngsil Lee is a PhD student part of the DCODE network funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant and located in Design informatics at the University of Edinburgh. Her current research focuses on an ecological approach to rethink data in food systems through design.
She has an MSc in Strategic Product Design and BS and BA degrees in Food bio-engineering and Visual communication. With a passionate interest in people, cultures and the environment, she has worked across the food and IT industries in Korea and the Netherlands as a brand manager, project manager, and service & interaction designer for 7 years.
