Eilidh Bowman, PhD Candidate

Eilidh Bowman is a fully-funded PhD candidate at the Advanced Care Research Centre (ACRC) and is affiliated with Design Informatics and Edinburgh Futures Institute. For her doctoral research, Eilidh is exploring the ethical dimensions relating to the use of companion robots to support ageing-in-place for older adults living alone in their homes. Her PhD is supervised by Prof. John Vines and Dr. Giulia De Togni.

Eilidh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from The University of Glasgow and a Masters by Research in Digital Media and Culture at The University of Edinburgh.
